I think a lot of times in RPGs the GM tends to underestimate the players and also vice versa.
When a player sounds very confident that they can do something that is the point that you, as the GM, should be nervous because they probably have a plan despite how impossible the task may seem. Also if your GM seems very content and relaxed to let you go through with your insane plan you may want to rethink it because there is a chance your GM may have a plan up their sleeve.
Also side note me and Kidra will probably not be responding much to comments or the like over the next couple of days because we will both be at Salt Lake Comic Con 2014!! We are both pretty ecstatic and we will make sure we post pics to our twitter account and maybe tweet some other stuff as well! So if you want to keep up with us feel free to follow @CriticalLaugh on Twitter!
Hey guys, we're having loads of fun at Salt Lake Comic Con. We've been posting a lot of pictures on Twitter, so go check it out if you want to see the cool stuff we've been doing. Like XiaoKe said, we're @criticallaugh so come check it out.
Have fun at the con!
Yeah, it's unnerving when the DM lets you, say, dual-wield sniper rifles... I'm doing 3d10+11 pen5 with a reroll plus 4d10+5 pen6 per round in Dark Heresy now. Granted, the Guardsman with an Autocannon and a High-Frequency Blade substantially out damages me, but he's a lot easier to hit too. We still can't one-shot the abominations the GM is throwing at us now!
