Luckily, the strips I make have improved considerably. I actually made the original strip in Microsoft Powerpoint, just because it was the only thing I knew how to use.

(I've since removed the link because the survey closed) We've gotten quite a few responses for our survey, but if you haven't filled it out yet we want your opinions on some things. What you say WILL affect some things we do in the near future, so please let us know what you think.

Thanks again for a great year. The comic will resume on Monday!

I personally use Paint.net after DragonTrainer suggested it. The word balloons looked much smoother that way. Also, Xioke definitely knows how to pick screen caps better than past you. No offense past Kidra.

Past and current Kidra take no offense to your comment. XiaoKe's method is infinitely superior to my old method. The screenshots were just taken from a Google image search, and like I said I was using power point. Now when I do a strip I use Photoshop, and XiaoKe uses paint.net. he also uses a program to actually get individual frames from the DVD. So yes, the world is a better place because XiaoKe knew of better ways to do this.

Yeah, Paint.net is my weapon of choice.
What's funny is that even before the final one we posted I had redid it using the exact same screenshots and it still looked better than this one ;-) I'll have to see if I can find that version so we can all see the progression of the comic. XD
