Hey guys, sorry there's nothing for discussion today. With everything going on and the recent increase in number of filler strips, I'm just spent creatively. This semester is proving to pretty draining, so I hope you can forgive me for the lack of anything creative today.

Suggested topic: Favorite Character Concept You Haven't Got To Play Yet

Mine would be a 5e, dragonborn, Noble (Knight) background, mounted Eldritch Knight Fighter. His name is Culdrethar Berroan (egg name KoKo). His NPC attendants are a squire named Sant-Sho Pan-Dza, and a fair maiden Dool-Xi Nai-Ya. He tilts at windmills =]

I'm literally halfway through my third binder collecting them all, and that's just the ones I've bothered to write down. At least I can throw some into parties with each other and use them as random encounters, though they need a lot of adaptation to fit when most of them are 3.5 characters and I'm running a D&D 5e pony game and a Dark Heresy 1e game.
Kinda bummed I didn't get to play the Blood Jaguars Librarian I made for a Deathwatch game, though; since 3/4 of the team made Librarians, I was one of the ones who rerolled so we'd have a more diverse team and not get annihilated by anything anti-psychic.
For the uninitiated, the Blood Jaguars are a chapter of Space Marines best summarized as 'Mesoamerican vampire supersoldiers, in space.' And this one was a psychic, so... basically, to quote a friend of mine on the subject of Space Marine Librarians, "a stabby wizard in full plate."

Probably back in the late 1990s or early 2000s, I had an idea in GURPS: a quadriplegic mage. Why? Well GURPS is a point-buy system and being a quadriplegic not only gave you a huge amount of points back. In short enough to build an amazing mage on a budget.

Never did finish it because the idea started in 3e and then 4e came out before I finished (so it was probably early 2000s when I started). I've toyed with it for 4e but I'm not sure if the idea works as well there. For starters I never was able to get as many 4e books so the spells I was counting on to "compensate" aren't confirmed (they existed in 3e) and I am uncertain if taking them requires adjusting the quadriplegic advantage accordingly.

Though the fallback option of having his non-magical-but-physically-hardy-brother as an always-there-Ally might still let it work. Yes, I'm using an idea I got from Knights of the Dinner Table: a body porter. XD

I've actually always wanted to play a paladin. That may seem like it's simple, but it's just never fit into our campaigns. A specific build I've been thinking of is actually an alternate universe version of a ranger I have. The paladin version has increased healing skills and uses a falcata which has the sweetest crit range.

I haven't yet had the opportunity to be a party healer, so one of my favorite characters has gone as yet unplayed. He's a Kalashtar Cloistered Cleric, and a mad scientist. He really doesn't understand how other people think. While I honestly believe he's of Good alignment, I also don't think it would be out of character for him to say, "Come on, it's only a little trauma! It's for Science!"
One of my favorite parts of his build is applying the Psionic Shot feat to Reach Cure spells.

An elf. Or a ranger. I have never let myself play either, simply because I fear what would happen if I were allowed to play the "cliche" elven ranger that I've always sorta wanted to play. I worry I would try to make it just a reflection of me, and then make her a Mary Sue, and then everything would just spiral out of control.
