Oh Hai!

Sorry for the delay in between strips, a combination of a weird funk and Comic Con is my excuse :)

So instead of story time this time, I have a favor to ask. I'm currently working on another project right now (No spoilers yet ;-) and I need a list of Nerdy fandoms, so What "Nerdy Fandoms" do you consider yourself a part of? Or if you don't consider yourself a part of the fandom what other nerdy stuff are you all into other than RPGs?

(Examples Doctor Who, My Little Pony, Star Trek, Comics, etc.)

Thanks in advance!

Fandoms? Well, Sherlock, Doctor Who, Supernatural, Marvel, DC, Harry Potter, Pokemon, Witcher... A lot of fandoms actually.

Nerdy fandoms, huh? Let's see:

Transformers (action figures in general)
Gamer (video games)
Gamer (pen & paper RPGs)
Gamer (Just in general - I love playing games)
Comics (In general)
Animation (in general)
books (in general)

While I wouldn't call it a fandom in the usual sense, frankly politics and religion aren't too far removed. In fact the main difference is that those tend to have some very real world consequences. I can see incorporating them or avoiding them, just make sure that you do just that. Too many times someone "thinks" they are avoiding something but it mostly just means stating their own beliefs or what they think their audience wants to here and hoping no one notices. XD

I don't believe noone mentioned Touhou Project and Kantai Colection yet. Except I did just now. But I must note that I am not KanCole fan myself, but that fandom is quite large.

How about Power Rangers fandom? I'm more a fan of giant robots in general.

Magical Girls.

Wait, you mentioned Star Trek but not Star Wars? Son, I am disappoint.

I like both Star Wars and Star Trek on aproximately sme level, and I wish there was an official Star Wars / Star Trek crossover. But no, we must have X-Men/Star Trek instead, on the stupid reason that both have Dr. McCoy.

I don't consider myself part of a fandom. I mean, I was part of the Slayers fandom when I was younger, but decided those things were to crazy for me :P

But I do watch Doctor Who, I play videogames (I'm the official Dynasty Warriors/Samurai Warriors nut in my area), and watch anime (anything from Typemoon, Gen Urobuchi, or the Macross franchise)

Oh, and I like Star Wars, but I'm more of a fan of the Old Republic games. Please don't kill me!

Oh Throne. Fandoms and other geekery. Mercy, where does one begin..?
Warhammer 40K and Magic: the Gathering round out the Comic Shop Trinity with D&D - I mostly play 40K RPGs and Magic, in terms of tabletop gaming. And AD&D. I miss 3.5, and wanna try Pathfinder and the 40K wargame sometime, but I've gotten off-topic. (Whee, 1AM!)
Firefly, Friendship is Magic, assorted anime, Joss Whedon shows in general, webcomics, martial arts (incl. swordplay), ceramics, smithing, animal husbandry... It might be quicker to list things I'm not into. Could you refine the parameters of the question?
