I know that in another campaign comic(probably Darths & Droids if I remember right) they talk about how to incorporate torture into a campaign. If anyone knows for sure which comic if they could please mention it that would be great.

What I actually want to start a discussion about today is fear in a campaign. My character was recently given a phobia of a fairly common material, so it's interesting because up until this point he's been scared of nothing, and he's been quite reckless. So to suddenly have a phobia of something so simple is very difficult for him to handle.

Did your character at least get some sort of bonus for having that phobia? :p

Not exactly. We were in a strange situation where multiple Will saves were required. I failed a few of them and this was the result.

Now I have to make a will save every time I see a certain blue stone. I theoretically have over a 50% chance to make the save, but it sure doesn't feel like that sometimes.

Yeah, it's Darths and Droids comic 736 (when Vader brings in the torture droid into Leia's cell).

Fear? Hmmm... Well, the fear rules in Dark Heresy are pretty brutal. Less so when the entire team took Jaded right off the bat, becoming immune to nonmagical fear effects, but when the GM says the skeleton floating in the vacuum is scary, you roll your fear test. Much like 98% of bullets directed at me, I did fine for rolling to avoid any I'll effect, but one guy rolled less well, and got a temporary paranoia that reduced a stat or two but boosted perception. It was concluded that he'd realized there were skeletons inside of us all, potentially waiting for him to drop his guard.
