Waking up in an unknown place can be a little frightening. Who knows what they could have done while you were out? They could have taken all your gear, placed spells on you that will make you betray your allies, or worst of all, take pictures of you in embarrassing situations and then post them on social media!

I always get the feeling, that some thing don't do the damage they should. Our D&D group once came up against a firing squad who burst in on us in the tavern; muskets and similar; it's a long story....

The order of event was: "Oi you, come with us", "Bugger off", We get shot by an execution-squad, we calmly put down our drinks and proceed to stand up and hack them to pieces, while they look incredulous and try to reload.

It's always a funny story, but somehoy I still felt overpowered.

not sure how i would feel with the DM forcing that drawback on me... but this guy manages to turn it around well enough so good on him! (then again, not sure how its gonna work/happen. could be a collab thing)

I imagine that the DM is treating it like a Flaw--that is, Tony's player now has points to spend on other stuff, specifically something to help him escape. He'll probably give him the option to get rid of the Flaw (and the bonus points) after he gets home. I wonder how big of a wrench it'll be when Tony's player decides to KEEP the Flaw....
